Als notwendige Ergänzung der Ausstellung "Based in Berlin", die vom 8. Juni bis 24. Juli im Atelierhaus Monbijoupark stattfindet, stellt sich die KUNSTHALLE am Hamburger Platz einer tatsächlichen und ergebnisoffenen Bestandsaufnahme der Berliner Gegenwartskunstproduktion.

Die KUNSTHALLE am Hamburger Platz ist eine ehemalige DDR-Kaufhalle, die von der Kunsthochschule Berlin Weißensee 10 Jahre als Atelier der Bildhauereistudenten genutzt wurde. Mit Bezug eines Atelierneubaus auf dem Campus der KH Berlin Weißensee wird das Gebäude seit Ende letzten Jahres als Ausstellungs- und Veranstaltungsort genutzt, um eine Schnittstelle zwischen dem Kunststudium und der Arbeits- und Lebenspraxis als freiberuflicher Künstler zu erproben. Sie wird zur Zeit unter Leitung der beiden Gastprofessoren Thaddäus Hüppi und Markus Wirthmann temporär betrieben und für eine langfristige Nutzung konzipiert.

Die KUNSTHALLE am Hamburger Platz ist eine Initiative der Kunsthochschule Berlin Weißensee.

In seiner 4. Auflage verwandelt sich das Architekturmodell LAGE 3:20 in einer Wunderkammer.
Das experimentelle und ergebnisoffene Projekt soll Gelegenheit bieten, auf unkonventionelle Art und Weise und auf kleinstein Raum ein möglichst breites und vielschichtiges Bild aktueller Positionen zu geben.

Throughout the Month of Performance Art, tamtamART presents the ‘Performance
Art-Lose weight exercise’. At the opening on March 7th, we’ll have video installation
and “lose weight exercise lesson” for the audience to join us

Lose weight exercise is a performance project. Description of HUNGER (not only from physiology, but also from psychology): a strong desire. At this time, both men and women, have a new standard for the “perfect shape” which is more stringent and more diversified. At some point, we even get stuck in morbid thoughts “hunger for hunger “. Therefore, we intend to mock this bizarre social phenomenon through this series of performance- Lose weight exercise. 

減肥瘦身操是一個表演計畫：HUNGER在字義上，除了飢餓，還有擁有某種事物的渴望。此時，不論男女，對於身體的"完美塑型"，都有了更嚴苛，更多元化的標準，甚至達到"渴望飢餓-hunger for hunger"的病態念頭。因此在這一系列的表演行為裡，我企圖透過一場類似減肥瘦身操的詼諧動作，嘲諷這個怪異現象。現場裝置有巨型的塑身器材裝置，例如啞鈴、踏步機、大塑膠球，搭配兩段自編塑身操的錄像裝置。透過這些既熟悉又荒誕的塑身行為，如此充斥著詭異又病態的氛圍，試想提問， hunger已經變成了什麼？

from the 7-15 MAY with work by the following artists: Franziska Keune,Hsuan Huang,
I-Chen Tsou 鄒逸真, Mirella Oestreicher, Saskia Hubert,Yun-Ting Hung 洪韵婷, Dido Lin.

Month of Performance Art is a new pilot project which aims to highlight the wealth
and diversity of independent performance art practices, currently thriving in Berlin.
Due in May 2011, MPA aspires to intersect Berlin-based venues, curators, producers
and artists who operate on the boundaries of institutionalised performing arts
structures, and thus to reflect the creative force injected by independent cultural
players into the city’s contemporary performance art scene.

One day space is a on-going space project. This project is focus on the imagination of " place and space." They can be houses, studios or schools... According to the observation of the living and the space and the connection with the local humanity, the artist tries to create artworks by using those traits in the space to exchange the image of the mind in a day.

One day space是一個持續進行中的計畫，這個計畫聚焦於對“場所、空間“的想像，它們可以是家屋、是工作室、或是學校；透過藝術家對生活與空間的觀察，以及和當地人文的聯結，嘗試利用這些特性在空間裡進行創作，做一天心靈意象(image)上的轉換。

One day space #02 / Moin light

Moin is a Frisian and Low German greeting from northern Germany and southern Denmark, meaning "hello". People use this word on morning and evening. In this exhibition, Moin light will be focus on my observation of light, lighting and studio space in daily life in north German.

Moin是北德與丹麥南部早晚使用的問候語。Moin light聚焦於我在德國北部對日常生活中的光線、照明以及工作室空間的觀察。關於夜晚，透過窗戶看出去的夜晚更讓人清楚感受黑暗的無邊際，因此我將月亮照片輸出後夾在桌燈前，並將桌燈放置在窗外的花園裡，朝著工作室照射，給了自己了一個月光。另外，在工作室外的走廊，有面大型的天窗，一天中陽光透過天窗照在地上，從左到右，然後漸漸消失在黑暗中，為了留住陽光，我用夜光劑塗在地上，複製了天窗的形狀。工作室的天花板上則投影了我的北德的天空印象
